Dissemination of information and protection of personal information
Under the Regulation respecting the distribution of information and the protection of personal information (A-2.1, r.2), the Commission d’évaluation de l’enseignement collégial must publish a range of information and documents on its website. This obligation stems from the government’s will to be more transparent towards citizens. This section provides information and documents required by the regulations.
The Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and the protection of personal information (L.R.Q., c.c-A2.1) also guarantees citizens, in addition to the right to access documents, the right to access personal information that concerns them and to demand its correction if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous, or if its collection, communication or preservation is not permitted by law.
