Records of information exchanges

The Access act permits certain exchanges of personal information without the consent of the individual in question. It requires public bodies, however, to keep a record of the nature or type of information shared, the person or body who received this communication, the means by which it is shared, the indication, if required, of whether the information is being shared outside of Quebec, as well as the reason justifying this dissemination (article 67.3).

The Commission does not share personal information with other bodies and therefore does not keep a record for this purpose.
