Programs leading to an attestation of college studies (ACS) are part of a continuing education framework within a field specific to a technical program of studies. These are short-term programs intended for adults. The evaluated program must be offered on a full-time basis, involve a significant percentage of the college student population, and likely be offered again by the establishment. The 20 programs evaluated show significant differences in terms of the number of units provided (8 to 70 units) and the length of the training (8 to 75 weeks).
According to the Commission’s chosen evaluation process and with the help of the specific guide produced for these establishments, the Commission evaluated 20 programs leading to an attestation of college studies, offered among 23 institutions. The Commission submitted its respective evaluation reports to the institutions affected, and published a summary report. These individual reports can be accessed by clicking on the desired college’s name on the website’s Publications page.
