Consultation committee

Under articles 15 and 19-21 of its Incorporating Act, the Commission can set up advisory committees and determine their mandates and operating rules. For each assessment operation, it establishes a committee consisting of individuals from the education community, socio-professional organizations, and other work environments interested in the evaluation in question. A commissioner chairs it, and a personnel member is responsible for coordinating the project.

Consultation committees are responsible for assisting the Commission in identifying issues and challenges in operations and in preparing useful documents for assessments. In some cases, members may also be asked to participate in evaluation visits of establishments as external experts.
