The Act applies to all documents the Commission holds in its possession, in any form, within the exercise of its duties., When a request concerns a document produced by a college or another body, however the Commission provides the useful information to the applicant, allowing them to easily reach the college or body in question (article 48). Finally, the Commission is under no obligation to create a new document, for example, a statistical report or an analytical document, as a response to the request.
Some public documents are available without restrictions. It is therefore not necessary to invoke the Act to gain access to them. This is the case, for example, for evaluation reports sent to colleges or any publications already published on the Commission’s website.
