A strategic look at quality assurance

Strategic monitoring by the Commission helps keep its quality assurance expertise up to date, and helps nurture its reflection on decision-making and in supporting developing and monitoring operations. Through the public dissemination of monitoring results, the Commission becomes involved in information sharing with all parties concerned with quality assurance, whether it is to follow the progress in this field, or to situate the Commission’s activities within an international context.

The Commission publishes the monthly iVeille newsletter and broadcasts other results on a daily basis on its home page. The theme covered by these monitoring activities deals with quality assurance in higher education based on these main dimensions: research and development within the field; quality management; the purpose of quality assurance and the steps of the quality assurance process. Results can refer to news, events, publications and scientific articles from different regions of the world.
