The Commission is required to carry out its duties with respect to all college-level institutions to which the College Education Regulations apply. In the current context, the college education network is made up of 119 institutions, including:
- 48 Cegeps (public) ;
- 19 private subsidized colleges;
- 48 private non-subsidized institutions;
- 4 institutions under a ministry or university (public).
